Poseidon - the God of the sea.

In Greek mythology, Poseidon is renowned to be the God of the sea. Poseidon was the son of Cronus, the God of time and Rhea, the goddess of the Earth. It is one of six brothers and sisters that divide the power of the world. Then that Zeus governed the heavens, while Hades ruled Hell, or the underworld and Poseidon was the sea. He was also the God of horses and the God of earthquakes. The main symbols associated with the Poseidon include tridents, crafted unique fish Spears and dolphins.

Sailors foresaw the Poseidon for good travel by sea

Because he was the undisputed king of the sea, sailors and other sea travellers often drowned horses in the sacrifice of his honour. Most of seamen and sailors at the time also count on him for a safe trip and without incident. Poseidon live in a large Palace of gems and corals, and he rode on a tank focused on the horse.

Poseidon was often called a God very erratic and Moody, so whenever he was in a sour mood or angry, he became very violent and would often hit the ground with a trident which caused earthquakes, shipwreck and stormy seas. He was married to Nereid, Amphitrite, and even had a child with the Gorgon Medusa. He also raped Aethra and Amymone. Poseidon is also famous for having business with his sister of Demeter. Poseidon often continues to Demeter, who herself transformed into a Mare that he does not find Poseidon. However, Poseidon transformed into a standard and finally captured sound. Concurrence between Athena and Poseidon

Poseidon, according to legend, also competed for the Athena, the goddess of war supremacy. Both competed for the control of the city of Athens.
